An international pioneer in complementary medicine, Dr. Salerno is Founder of the Salerno Center for Complementary Medicine in New York City where he has been providing integrative inhalation therapies to those suffering with COPD and Asthma for 20 years. Previously, he served as Preceptor at the Yale School of Medicine. Subsequent to the 9/11/2001 terrorist attacks, Dr. Salerno served Medical Director of World Trade Center Landfill where he was in charge of worker health.

Chief Science Officer

Dr. George Hoag spent 23 years as an engineering professor at the University of Connecticut and the last 14 years conducting research and inventing products and processes with a focus on free radical and natural product chemistry, micro- and nano-emulsions and synthesis of metal nano-particles with natural compounds.  He has spent the last seven years developing natural compound related products and drugs for the health care industry that integrate recent discoveries of nociceptor and inflammatory cytokine antagonists. He has 12 issued United States patents and 21 pending.

Advisor

Raymond M. Welsh was the founding Chairman of the Immunology and Virology Program at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Currently Emeritus Professor of Pathology at UMass, he received the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Merit Award and was elected Fellow of the American Academy of Microbiology in 2014. He recently co-authored Viruses and the Lung: Infections and Non-Infectious Viral-Linked Lung Disorders (2014, Springer).  Welsh demonstrated that the  immune response to viral infections involved cytokine (interferon) driven natural killer (NK) cell activation followed by an antigen-driven T cell activation, now referred to as the innate and adaptive immune responses. His lab developed the field of heterologous immunity, whereby immunity to previously encountered viruses  can alter the pathogenesis of  other viruses subsequently encountered. He is a former Editor of the Journal of Virology, with expertise in studying corona and a number of other viruses in experimental systems.

John has nearly 25 years of experience in the executive leadership gaining a breadth of knowledge across the business landscape with companies such as Nasdaq, Tronox and Reliant Funding. John’s key areas of proficiency include business development, financing, and liquidity management.

John received his undergraduate degrees from Sacred Heart University and completed the General Management Program at the Harvard Business School.
